Green Bean Casserole

Save the calories with this scrumptious recipe.

Puree a bag of Mirepoix  (here's how to make it) with a quarter cup of water and a couple of dashes of salt.  Bring to a boil in a large skillet, then let simmer for 15 minutes.  Add a big bag of frozen green beans.  When green beans are done, serve typed with the traditional crispy onions. 

You'll have a great dose of flavor and nostalgia.  Yum.
